This is the style that the Rams wore in the 2000's. The on-ice photos are of Mike Lee in the 2008 Hockey Day in Minnesota. You can clearly see where the oval-shaped AK logo has been stripped from the rear hem and the Greg Larson Sports logo has been embroidered over the top of where it had been.
I think that this is a game-ready on-ice model from AK, but I don't think it was ever intended to go on-ice on a Rams player's back. There was no #46 on the team. This jersey came from a former Rams varsity coach. My guess is that the Rams Hockey Association had GLS make some extras in size XL with the #46 on the back to give as gifts to sponsors and friends of the program. The number 46 would of course be a reference to the year 1946, the second year of the Minnesota State High School Hockey Tournament. It was Roseau's first State Tourney berth and also their first State Tourney victory.
This is a nice game ready example of a shirt that saw some historic times for the Rams. There were state tournament trips and a few NHL'ers, and second ever Hockey Day in Minnesota.
